The Stand in Laguna was always there to satisfy me when finishing up on the beach or after a long hike in the hills.

This place is quirky, very satisfying and the potions and flavours are just right.

The place itself has crazy quirky decor and there is usually a nice long wait around the hours of lunch and dinner.

But totally worth the wait.

The #VeggieBurger was sooo good...especially for a baby vegan who's new to this way of eating. The burger was huge so I didn't finish. Perfect lunch spot near the beach!

Gustatory. Read about this place in the New York Times. Less than a block off Pacific Coast highway on Thalia St. Parking is not as difficult as some have mentioned; they have a lot in back. Has been under same ownership for 40 years -- very knowledgeable about local vegetarian resources. We got there at 2:30 and stood in line with about 9 people. Not a long wait. All seating is outside. Dog lovers and foreign accents among the customers. I asked counter person what would you suggest for a visitor who will only be here once. She checked in back and I ordered the Potato Guacamole Burrito for 6.95. Big portion and DELICIOUS. My Mother, sister and spouse were also very satisfied with their selections.
